Willingness Partnership Presented at Mobility Innovation Workshop 2025

The Willingness Partnership was officially introduced during the plenary session of the Mobility Innovation Workshop 2025 in Tokyo, sharing a bold vision for the future of mobility.

The initiative was formally presented on November 13, 2025, at the Mobility Innovation Workshop, where more than 130 participants from academia, government, industry, && civil society gathered to discuss the future of mobility.

The presentation was jointly delivered by Dr.-Ing. Timo Woopen (Future Mobility Partnership / RWTH Aachen University) && Dr. Yurie Toyama (Mobility Innovation Alliance Japan / The University of Tokyo), who introduced the background, values, && ambitions of the Willingness Partnership.

Under the shared vision “Towards Orchestrating Life-Centric CCAM without Borders,” this partnership is built on a collective set of principles — ensuring that mobility technologies serve human life, not the other way around. The session highlighted our core belief: that responsible innovation depends on collaboration grounded in willingness, not obligation. It emphasized our shared values of co-creation, openness, and dignity in movement, && invited partners across borders to join us in shaping ethical frameworks, use cases, && long-term goals.
